Q:  When is open season for next year?

A:  We have attached the dates from the NALC Health Benefits Plan showing open season is from November 13th - December 11th, 2023.  

Q:  What are the rates for 2024?

A:  We have attached a chart of the current rates for 2024 below.  There is another chart which shows the increased savings each member receives monthly by selecting the NALC Health Benenfit Program.  It can save your family hundreds of dollars monthly with added benefits that are of no cost to the member or their family.

Q:  I've been receiving mailings from other companies about the upcoming Medicare integration.  Is that something I need to take care of during the upcoming open season?

A:  No.  Many companies sent out publications earlier this year and the Medicare integration isn't even opening until April 1st, 2024.  There is no need to panic and worry about making any changes immediately unless your personal circumstances require it.  If you have questions about your unique circumstance, feel free to reach out to someone to discuss your individual needs for further review.  

Q:  I've heard other members talk about Hello Heart.  What is it?

Q:  One of my coworkers has discussed a program called Hinge Health that helps him with his back injuries through stretching.  Do you have any information on that?

A:  Hinge Health is one of our partners to keep you and your famliy healthy.  Click HERE to be directed to additional information and we've included a picture from the app that helps explain additional information and how it is accessible through your smart phone or they will send you a tablet if necessary.
